Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1–2 teaspoons sriracha (adjust for desired heat)
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Directions:

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper. Place beaten eggs in a separate bowl, and panko breadcrumbs in another.
  2. Dredge each chicken piece in flour, then dip into eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken bites in batches for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey until smooth.
  5. Toss the fried chicken bites in the sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Notes:

  • For a lighter version, bake chicken bites at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Adjust sriracha for your preferred level of spiciness.
